Documentation Requirements

• Commercial Invoice/s with values
• Arrival Notice
• Packing List/s with values noting that values of both and descriptions to be consistent on both sets of documents
• Bill of lading Copy
• Clearing and forwarding instruction (Completed by Consignee/Shipper)
• Namport POA

Additionally, and where applicable:

• Hazardous Manifests and Data/Safety sheets/information
• Dimensions for OOG Cargo
• Other relevant documentation (Permits, certificates of origin etc) required for the importation of any prescribed cargo where reference can be made to the attached documentation tracker

Terms and Conditions

• Demurrage + Detention – Standard free-time will be applied where no special free-time filed on PCD (Price Calculation Date).
• If Maersk is providing the Maersk Customs Services then we require documentation 7 Days prior Vessel Arrival to allow customs formalities to be completed.
• Import Free-time starts upon container discharge and ends when empty turned into our depot/port.
• Export Import Free-time starts when empty collected and full container turned into port.
• Free-time does not allow for containers to be discharged and left at customer yard for later collection even if within allowed 30 Days. Customers have 24hours to destuff the box after which waiting time charges will be incurred.
• Port storage will be paid by the clearing agent where said costs will be recovered from customer prior discharge of cargo.
