Tango Service Rotation – Temporary Service Adjustments
Effective from the Monte Tamaro 442N, departing Buenos Aires (ETA 19/10), we will be temporarily adjusting our service to call at Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande on a bi-weekly basis. As communicated in our previous advisory on September 6th, the Norfolk port will continue to be omitted.
The Monte Tamaro 442N will call at Rio de Janeiro and omit Rio Grande, while the Monte Verde 443N will call at Rio Grande and omit Rio de Janeiro. Norfolk will be omitted on a weekly basis. This revised schedule will remain in effect until the Monte Tamaro 446S/449N.
This adjustment is intended to enhance the reliability of our Tango service, as congestion in Newark and adverse weather conditions have been impacting ports in the rotation. During this time, we will continue to provide weekly Norfolk connections via barge, following discharge in Philadelphia from the Tango service. Both Rio Grande and Rio de Janeiro will be serviced on a bi-weekly schedule.
