The Maersk Vilnius 502N is required to proceed to dry dock in Shanghai with a strict deadline, which has moved forward recently. The vessel was unfortunately impacted in Cape Town by strong winds, poor productivity and crane breakdowns, which has resulted in the decision to cut and run and leave some cargo behind in order to proceed directly to the US and make the required deadline.

Due to the abovementioned constraints, all US ports will be omitted and units will discharge in Freeport before proceeding to final destination. All shortshipped units will be accommodated on the MSC Juliana III 503N.
