Maersk is launching a new weekly service, called ASAS2, connecting East Coast South America and Asia. This service will provide additional coverage, increased connectivity, and higher frequency in addition to our existing ASAS service.
Key features of ASAS2 include:
- Extended Asia port coverage with the addition of Vung Tau and Shekou calls.
- Improved connections to Vitoria and Rio de Janeiro via Santos.
- Increased sailing frequency from Shanghai to Santos.
The full rotation is Shanghai – Shekou – Vung Tau – Singapore – Santos – Singapore – Shanghai.

The first sailing is scheduled to depart from Shanghai, China on 09th of April 2025 with CMA CGM NANSHA voyage 515W.
