June 19th, 2025 – Update 2
As your integrated logistics partner, our aim is to give you the best ability to manage your supply chain. This is of the utmost importance to us, and our goal is to ensure that you have the necessary information to better plan your logistical network. In line with this, we would like to inform you about the latest developments in the Middle East.
After carefully analysing threat risk reports regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran - particularly the potential risks of calling specific Israeli ports and their implications for the safety of our crews, Maersk has made the decision to temporarily suspend vessel calls at the Port of Haifa, Israel and also suspend cargo acceptance for Haifa.
The safety and security of our seafarers and operations are our top priorities. We have taken this proactive measure to safeguard our people, assets, and customers’ cargo in light of increased regional instability.
We are in close contact with customers who may be impacted by this decision and are working to provide alternative transport solutions to minimise disruption. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and stand ready to reassess this decision as soon as it is safe and feasible to do so. Further updates will be shared as new information becomes available. At the same time, we continue to call the port in Ashdod and are making arrangements to offer our customers alternative solutions.

In light of the recent escalations in the Middle East that began on June 12, 2025, we would like to provide our customers with an update on the evolving situation and its potential impact on A.P. Moller – Maersk services.
Our immediate priority remains the safety and well-being of our colleagues in affected areas. We are pleased to confirm that all Maersk employees are currently safe. As a precaution, we have advised teams in impacted locations to work remotely. In parallel, we have activated our business continuity procedures to minimize potential disruptions to operations and service delivery.
Air operations in Israel are currently suspended due to the airport’s ongoing closure. We are coordinating closely with relevant stakeholders to monitor developments and respond swiftly to any changes that may affect our customers or their cargo. We are committed to keeping you informed as the situation evolves and are prepared to offer alternative logistics solutions should the need arise.
