Can I buy cargo insurance as a private individual shipping personal effects?
Maersk Cargo Insurance provided by Zurich Insurance is only valid for commercial use. The cargo insurance policy shall be cancelled, and any premiums paid will be returned in the event the policy is purchased by a private individual. By accepting the insurance policy offered, Customer confirms that it is a commercial undertaking using the insurance for commercial purposes.
