We decided to build the MMC team for two reasons: 1) Attracting and developing talent to APMM and 2) Building an effective transformation and execution muscle for APMM. Business Analyst

Meet Aina, Business Analyst in MMC. The role is part-time, allowing students based in Copenhagen to gain insight into the life as a management consultant alongside their studies.

I was drawn to MMC for the mix of learning opportunities and impact. I saw a chance to build a strong foundation in consulting while working with topics I’m genuinely interested in. - Aina

Goncalo

Intern

Meet Goncalo, former intern at MMC. Our full-time internship offers students 8–12 weeks of hands-on consulting experience, contributing to global Maersk projects while developing key problem-solving and analytical skills.

My two months as an intern with MMC were an amazing experience. I got to work alongside a team of highly talented people from many different nationalities and backgrounds and was exposed to the realities of doing consulting work inside a business that truly interests me. - Goncalo

Emma Bonnet

Consultant

Meet Emma, Consultant in MMC. This is our entry-level full-time position for postgraduates. As a Consultant, you will play an important role in projects across Maersk globally, managing your own workstreams with guidance from team members.

For me, internal consulting is the perfect balance between a steep learning curve in a fast-paced environment and a high level of responsibility with exposure to senior stakeholders. I really enjoy the dynamic of my "clients" being my colleagues, and of us working together to co-create solutions that will have a lasting impact on Maersk. - Emma

Lola

Senior Consultant

Meet Lola, Senior Consultant in MMC. This position is for professionals with 2+ years of experience from a top-tier management consultancy. As a Senior Consultant you will take a prominent role in developing and executing projects across Maersk globally, where you will be exposed to and work with senior stakeholders focusing on transforming and disrupting our business from within.

I decided to join MMC for a few reasons. First, it offered a great opportunity to build my consulting toolkit while acquiring comprehensive industry knowledge. I was also drawn by the team culture and the genuine understanding for personal commitments alongside a strong professional drive. Finally, Maersk's commitment to decarbonization really resonated with me; I want to be part of a company that shares my ideals and is serious about having a positive impact on the world. - Lola

Michelle

Project Leader

Meet Michelle, Project Leader in MMC. This position is for experienced professionals with 4+ years of work experience with exposure to top tier management consulting. As a Project Leader you will be leading diverse teams on strategic projects across Maersk. You will get consistent exposure to senior stakeholders while working to transform and disrupt our business from within.

I have always enjoyed the work as an external consultant, but, at the same time, after many years in external consulting I wanted to explore the "other side" – the client side. MMC allowed me to continue the "consulting way of working" while transitioning to the corporate side more smoothly. - Michelle

Juliane Kuhn

Head of MMC

Meet Juliane, Head of MMC. Leading MMC requires a visionary leader who will set the strategic direction of the team, working closely with senior executives across the organization. This role is based in Copenhagen but collaborates closely with the Singapore office and leadership team.

I made the leap from external consulting to shape the long-term strategic vision of Maersk and get a close-up view of the impact of my work, witnessing firsthand how ideas transform into reality. Plus, the opportunity to lead MMC, and see the team learn and grow into future leaders has been and remains a truly motivating challenge that I genuinely enjoy every day! - Juliane

Sveta Erofeeva

After MMC – Meet our alumni

Sveta Erofeeva, Labour Excellence Lead, APM Terminals - I joined MMC in 2019, transitioning from a career in external management consulting. I’ve always been passionate about the transportation and logistics industry, but what drew me to in-house consulting was the opportunity to build long-term, value-driven relationship with stakeholders — who are also your colleagues — while working toward shared goals. It also allowed me to see projects through from start to finish, helping the business not only solve known challenges but also identify them early on.

Leaving MMC as Senior Consultant, I moved from Copenhagen to Nigeria, where I spent three incredible years leading transformation efforts at our terminals in Apapa and Onne. It was a truly unique, hands-on experience that shaped my leadership style and my perspective, both professionally and personally.

Following that, I took on the role of Transformation Director, supporting the global Asset Management transformation at APM Terminals, which brought me to the Netherlands. In my current position as Labour Excellence Lead, I support our terminals in achieving and sustaining labour excellence — an essential pillar of our operational excellence and sustainable growth, and a key enabler of the APM Terminals Strategy 2030.

My time at MMC was not only a period of steep learning and developing as a strategic partner to the business, but also a time of building friendships that have endured across countries and continents. To me, MMC is more than a workplace — it’s a family, and it will always be this way.
