Enhancing Your Maersk Experience: A Guide to Useful Tools and Features

Maersk Hub is a one-stop destination for all your shipping needs. You can personalize the dashboard with the language of your choice.

Click the right-hand side menu button, and you’ll get a host of features to explore.

• News and Advisories: Here, you’ll find the latest news and updates in the industry curated by Maersk. You can sign up for the newsletter to have it sent to your email regularly.
• Local Offices & Information: Get important contacts and shipping information (such as routes, charges, holidays, etc.) for any origin or destination country/port. For each region or country, you will get access to:
  • Information on local Maersk offices and port information
  • Tax-related guidelines
  • Useful forms and agreements
  • Information on import procedures (like demurrage & detention, container street-turn, and more)
  • Details on export procedures and required documents (like invoice quality, ERD communication, important spot scenarios, etc.)

Click on the profile icon at the top-right of the dashboard page. From this tab, you can:

Change Profile Settings

To change your profile, click ‘Settings’, and you’ll see all the details we have for you.

• Profile Tab: Here, you can update how the website displays units of measurement, change passwords, manage security, or close your account.
• Permissions Tab: You can review all permissions that are enabled for your username or company.
• Company Permissions: This gives you details registered for your company and the team access granted to the company representatives. You can also choose to revoke certain permissions as well.
• Payment Setup: Access all settings related to payment, like adding and reviewing bank account details to use for payments via MyFinance.
• Customer Search: Look for any registered logistics partner we have as a customer using a trade name and country or directly through their customer code. Get their address and account activity status.

Manage Subscriptions

From the profile tab, you can click on the ‘Manage Subscriptions’ option. On this page, you can customize what notifications you receive from Maersk.

• You can get notified for Gate into Terminal/Port, Load, Discharge, and Gate Out.
• Toggle on any of the touchpoints to get notified when a shipment reaches that stage.
• You can filter it to specific shipments based on facility, party roles, and booking email.
• Aside from this, there is also an option to get notified of any updates in the transportation plan, Bill of Lading (BoL), or Arrival Notice. Set specific filters for each notification as well as the email address.

You’ll find the ‘Customize’ option on top of the hub dashboard. Using this button, you can move the different information tiles around with a simple drag and drop. This will help you see what’s important to you right on top of the dashboard with your preferred view and settings.

On the top menu panel, you’ll find the ‘Manage’ drop-down tab at the end. Go to ‘Case Management’ from here.

Case Management in Maersk

In this section, you’ll have access to all your currently raised cases or create a new one. Our support team uses the Case Management tool internally to track all customer issues and share data across the group.

• To raise a new case, all you need to submit is a case category, sub-category, short description, and relevant files.
• Before you raise the case, we’ll also suggest checking out the relevant support FAQs that might resolve your issue more quickly.

Maersk Live Chat

The live chat is always present on the bottom right of your screen. Use it to talk to our virtual assistant (VA) and get help immediately.

• The VA will first ask you to categorize your issue.
• If your issue does not belong to any of the given categories, you can directly type your query in the chat box.
• Want to cut through the hassle and speak directly to a live support agent? Click the menu button on the right of the chat box and select ‘Transfer to Agent’.
