We would like to remind you of the process for requesting a Switch Bill of Lading.
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving documentation accuracy, we have identified potential risks for our customers when Switch Bills are not properly declared. To help avoid delays and additional charges, please take note of the following:
- Switch Bill amendments should not be submitted via Maersk.com as a regular amendment request.
- All Switch Bill requests must be submitted manually to us.customerexperience@maersk.com and declared upfront.
- Submitting a Switch Bill request through Maersk.com may result in processing delays and will incur a $125 USD administration fee, in addition to the $175 USD switch bill fee.
