As part of our ongoing commitment to simplify processes and enhance your experience, Maersk Indonesia is introducing an update to the submission method for the Letter of Indemnity (LOI) related to Outward Manifest requests.
This change is in response to your feedback and reflects our continued efforts to offer more digital, paperless solutions that support your day-to-day business with Maersk. By reducing manual steps, we aim to improve turnaround time and enable smoother export documentation.
Effective 3 November 2025, hardcopy LOI submission to our office is no longer required. Submission of the softcopy LOI in PDF format via email will be fully accepted and sufficient for processing.
To request an Outward Manifest to support your Export Notification Report (LPE) to customs, please send an email to id.export@maersk.com using the format that matches your requirement:

For POL (Port of Loading), you may use the city name (for example, Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Belawan) or other outport locations.
If you require an LOI template, you can download it here.
While hardcopy submission is no longer required, we kindly advise you to retain the original LOI for your internal records or future reference, especially in case of audit or customs review.
