Potential Impacts on Transit Times and Deliveries Manzanillo–Guadalajara Corridor

Currently, there are road impacts resulting from infrastructure work, lane reductions, traffic congestion at port access points, and seasonal operating conditions along the Manzanillo–Guadalajara corridor. These conditions could lead to increased overland transit times for containerized cargo and may affect scheduled deliveries on a case-by-case basis.

Construction and repair work continues along various sections of the corridor. Congestion is being observed at the entrances to the Port of Manzanillo, particularly during peak traffic hours.

Areas of Greatest Impact

Access roads to the Port of Manzanillo, La Salada (Km 15–25), La Salada–Armería (Km 25–54), and Armería–Cuyutlán (Km 54–95).

Expected Operational Impact

Potential delays in container processing and release, increased transit times, impacts to delivery appointments, and adjustments to operational scheduling. There may also be increased turnaround times for the return of empty containers due to terminal appointment scheduling.
