Customers can access the Maersk Emissions Studio online through any browser. A summary page presents key metrics (that may be swiftly imported into a CSR report, e.g., absolute tons of CO2e, CO2e-intensity) and several additional tabs help to analyze emissions by trade-lane, by carrier, by mode, by region and by time period. Data can be refreshed annually, semi-annually or quarterly, depending on customer preference.

All input data for Maersk managed shipments is sourced directly from Maersk reporting systems. For all non-Maersk managed shipments, simple excel-based input from customers will enable the tool to perform the emissions calculation. The combination of these data sources yields a holistic view of your emission footprint for container cargo transport.
